For those of you who have visited the Advanced Strategy Center at Pinnacle Peak, you are well aware of the southwest art that is part of our facility and style.  Early on in our development, we had the good fortune of meeting the Director of the Thunderbird Artists (www.thunderbirdartists.com)  Judi Combs.  Ms. Combs is well known by the artists of the Southwest and organizes a year long set of art festivals and events in locations such as Carefree, Sedona and Scottsdale.  The Center is pleased to display a rotating set of the Thunderbird Artists works, and the artists may be contacted directly about these works.  The Center does not accept any stipend or commission should any of our participants take it upon themselves to contact any of the artists and acquire any of the works.  We’re just delighted to  have a little art on the walls and provide these talented artists with another opportunity for visibility.

One of our rooms is affectionately referred to as the ‘McDonald Room’ as it features a number of unique southwest photographs by Tom and Jeanette McDonald.  Many of these are Native American settings and reflect a southwest heritage and strength that seems to embody the very spirit of our own Center.  Tom and Jeanette are great supporters of the Center, and we encourage you to visit their site at www.jtmacphotography.com. While resident in the off-season on Oregon, you’ll find them exhibiting their works at just about every major Thunderbird Artist event.

We hope you’ll enjoy the Southwest  art via the Thunderbird Artists!
